The Five Digits Bank Codes allotted to the Banks / Financial Institutions by the ABI ( Italian Banking Association ) for the identification of a payment service provider is called Codice ABI. ABI Code is also known as Bank Code / Clearing Codes used for identifying a Bank / Financial Institutions.

What is Codice CAB?

Each Bank / Financial Institution Branch of Italy is allotted five digits Codice CAB to uniquely identify a Bank Branch for financial transactions. Codice ABI & Codice CAB is unique for each Bank Branch. These codes are used for clearing payment through BI-COMP & Target2 clearing systems.
